Women's Foundation of Oregon, a non-profit missioned to improve the health, safety, economic security and well-being of women in Oregon, partnered with Harlo to design a website for their organization. It was exciting to work on a project to create a better future for women, and I couldn’t help but think of my two daughters.
Creating a subtle visual narrative, with women being the fabric that holds us together, we used hand drawn patterns for each page to add a human element. The photography of arms linked together, represents the “W” of their logo mark, helping to unite their brand and their organization’s voice.
A key component to the foundations success was getting people to become members and donate to the cause. We designed a form that made that process as easy and painless as possible, and that could work on a tablet for recruiting members on-site at events.
